FanNation is reporting that Rick Pitino is on Mark Cuban’s short list to take over the Dallas Mavericks vacated Head Coach spot.
You gotta be kidding. Dallas might have to officially incorporate Ft. Worth into the city limits just to contain the egos of these two unimaginable control freaks.
Rick Pitino isn’t the coach for a team that is only ‘a coach away’ from winning a title, like the Mavs are. Pitino is strict basketball fundamentalist. He breaks down a team to win his way…he doesn’t come in and adapt to the veteran players already in place.
If only Hank Steinbrenner would buy the Texas Rangers, then Dallas could have the assholiest owners in each major sport.
